The mod BasePack contains all teams. There will be a TrackPack and a ExpansionPack available later on. This is version 0.90, most likely there will be a version 1.00 later. As we still have some bugs in the mod, we don't want to call this a final version.
This peace of art may not work on all computers. As we live in 2008, most modders expect you want an eye candy product and therefore they give us some spectacular models. We've done everything we can to get the best FPS possible. This mod includes lods for both cars and tires. If you're not able to play a F1 Seven mod (1971, 1974 or 1975) it is most likely you can't play this mod either!
If you want to play with all changes (liveries and shapes) which happened during
the complete F1 Season 1979, you will need the ExpansionPack which will be made available later.
As there is no TrackPack available yet, you'll have to add tracks by yoursef. Do this by opening a .gdb file from a circuit and enter 7ZM for all the cars, and 79A-O for specific tracks. We hope to release both TrackPack and ExpansionPack any time soon.
As for the bugs, you might notice them ingame. Some mirrors ain't working, no sounds for the other teams, just their backfire. We don't mind the community releasing updates, but we want to check it before you release anything here. Just drop a PM or an email to one of the Team Junior members and we will most likely come with an official update instead of several updates being posted here! |
