1982,mod , very easy for install , only download and play.
DON´T FIX THIS WITH OTHER MODS , IF YOU WANT TO UNISTALL , SAVE it IN a CD/DVD with NERO 7
For play , you have to download TurboMegaUpdate Trackpack and the Turbo Audio.
There are 12 teams (you can play only with 11) and 22 drivers (you can play only with 20 drivers)
Only Ensign and Theodore have 1 driver.
For play , install this , with the TURBOMEGAUPDATE trackpack and the Turbo Audio.
Sorry very much , there isn´t ligier in the game.
The arrows was from 1981 and the theodore was make with the 1981 alfa romeo , with some modifies for get a better theodore.

Berofe Play it , you have to copy your F1 challenge folder and then , cut and paste these files in your copy of "F1 Challenge Folder"
DON´t MIX THIS MOD WITH THE OTHER MODS OF F1 CHALLENGE , IN YOUR COPY OF F1C FOLDER, DELETE ALL CIRCUITS AND VEHICLES AND INSTALL THIS AND THE 1986 TRACKPACK FROM TURBOMEGAUPDATE TRACKPACK v0.9
When you make all this now you can play.
If you don´t want to play and want to delete this , berofe , you have to record or save these files in a CD/DVD , when you make this , delete 1986 mod. When you wan´t to play , you only install and unpack the files from the CD/DVD have you recorded for play , and you can play everytime and delete it everytime. (if you have the CD/DVD recorded with 1986 mod).
This is provissional , I´m going to upload other 1986 mod , but the next file was very easy to install , only donload and play. ;)

This is modeled after williams FW08B.
Not as make it appear in the game F1 challenge, so we will upload in the state in which this.
If someone wants to do or know that this car can drive in the game F1 challenge, please let me know if you are going to do, because I am interested to know who makes it.

This is the 1983 Spirit Racing F1 team. This is meant to replace poor original version. The wings and body on this car are 100 scratch made, new body and wing textures by myself and all other textures coming from the Turbo Update. You MUST have this mod installed before you can use this. |

TurboMegaUpdate v0.9
This includes the 1982-1988 F1 seasons. Cars aren't made by me!
The credits go to Neiln1, Carlson1984 and others.
I haven't made any changes to the models at all.
I've been downloading and collecting all the stuff for the Turbo F1 seasons, more than 2GB unpacked (or something like that). I already downloaded the 1988 F1 season a long while ago, and after trying out this stunning turbo season, I started installing the other spectacular turbo seasons. After having almost all downloadable F1 cars installed, the first thing I did was reducing the huge size, and renaming the files and folders.
But that's not all that had to be done. The tracks are all collected, thanks to wookey for his permission and his great site (http://alliance.bondurand.com/f1c_tracks.htm)
Just two tracks are missing; Dallas and Paul Ricard (long version).
I already read there was someone doing a TurboMegaUpdate, but it was quiet for quite a while. As the authors of the initial TurboMegaUpdate "left" the project, I said I would be doing/ starting the same project, more or less. After about 5 months of work (and breaks, because of school), I decided to upload the whole thing as it is. The main reason is that I haven't got that much time for doing things like this. Don't think this TurboMegaUpdate is incomplete, it's more or less complete, but with some bugs.
So, there still are some problems here and there that need to be fixed. The problems I've collated;
- Helmets are floating above drivers' bodies. Mostly in the 1986 and 1987 season.
- Cars don't display properly in the spinner (too big and off-center).
- .gdb files (for tracks and for seasons); any effort there would be appreciated. We sure need realistic races, and we don't want the backmarkers to run in the front of the field, do we? Maybe the driver .rcd files are needed to for realism (like the 1994-200x pack by danil89).
- Some tyres don't use the intermediate/ wet/ monsoon tyre textures. Also, some of the tyres may be transparant.
If the F1C community will make some fixes to this TurboMegaUpdate and post it in this thread (or PM/ email), I will collect all the updates and will release a new version when needed. Keep in mind that this still is version 0.9, and a new version will be released later on!
I'm doing this in favour of the community, and sort of a tribute to the great drivers back then, Mansell, Senna etc. etc. and to the great creators of these Turbo cars, Neiln1, pk4ever and carlson.
