This utility for Grand Prix Legends enables you to observe how the tire temperatures develop during a session. The idea behind its creation is that camber and tire pressure setup in the GPL setup screen is a bit of a ‘guess-job’ and very time consuming because of the limited data available to the user. The tool will, after closing GPL, create a bitmap with interesting information about the tire temperatures. The ouput is designed to be as intuitively comprehandable as possible.
In the zip you'll find a readme and an executable file. Just copy the exe into your gpl folder and start it. Then start gpl.exe. After you've closed gpl.exe the utility will create a bitmap called 'ttemps.bmp' into your gpl directory, containing some interesting information.

I think its something to do with the 1965 mod,but I cant be shure,
it only appears to affect the cars in this mod.
some bright spark set, the default rpm sample rate to 5200 rpm In The App.ini
as a result the rpm sound loops at 5200rpm and locks to create an awfull screeching noise.
So Ive changed it to 7500rpm Which seems to work fine,
place this folder in your main SierraGpl folder.
when it prompts you to replace file SELECT YES
this should rectify the problem
PS.... If you Dont Believe me Switch it back to 5200 the test it on a 65 car.then switch it back and test again. |
